I think having a forestry building would be excellent, obviously with balanced tree growth, you could rotate several plantations at different stages of growth. It would definitely be nice to have such an option for keeping the islands looking nice

first i have no proplem if the implent planting trees ...
but if you need planting trees you dont understand the system of docks and ships

Could use the farm, or irrigated farm for that. New seed is trees, output is wood.

However, what I bet many people would like is plantable trees so they can make their island look nicer.

Plantable trees like in Workers and Resources, I've not played it but it looks like a good system. The trees would have to take years to grow.

In my opinion it would also make sense to have a sawmill to process logs. Currently seems a bit imbalanced having no process to the logs but many steps in ore processing.
