God of War being very CPU-heavy and barely utilizes GPU
Whenever I play GoW, it's seems to utilize my CPU at very high percentages (50-80%) and my GPU at very low percentages (10-15%). I have an i5-12400 & RTX 3060, so it kinda baffles me to see the game utilize my CPU so much but barely utilize the GPU.
Is there a way to fix this? Is it possibly because of in-game settings that I need to change, or launch options I might need to add?

No way to fix this. It's just the way it works. It uses my laptop CPU i5-9300H to 100% and my desktop CPU Ryzen 5 5600 to 70%~80% as well. If you wanna lower CPU usage you probably have to set graphics settings to original (the same as on PS4) or lower

I have the completely opposite story.

My GPU utilization is at 99% at times playing at 4K maxed settings with may 30% CPU utilization. 12700k/3080ti.

100% GPU usage and 60% CPU usage here. Playing on 1080p. Got an RTX 3060 and a 10400f.

Could you perhaps share your in-game graphical settings?

All ultra graphics. Literally all the settings are set to ultra. Game runs smooth anywhere between 60 to 100 FPS, depending on the location. DLSS is set to quality aswell.
Perhaps you might have some sort of software issue? Or a hardware one, I dunno really. Game works perfectly fine on my rig.

The game runs well for me too - stable 60 FPS and graphics set to Ultra. It's just that it's weird for me to see the game not utilize the GPU as much as it should, which may indicate that I have to tweak the game's settings a bit more. I really don't know either.

If the game is using your GPU by only 15%, then you really should have less than 20 FPS in this game, but you claim you've got a stable 60FPS. Are you sure you're reading the metrics right? I assume you're using MSI Afterburner for the readings? Or Nvidia's overlay? Perhaps whatever software you've got isn't showing your GPU usage right.

Well, I've been using both HWMonitor & Task Manager (With the 'Always on top' setting enabled) to monitor the usage percentages and temperatures while GoW is open; in both of these applications it shows what I've said in the first place - CPU is being heavily utilized but the GPU is under-utilized.
I'd like to emphasize that I really don't mind it anymore - I've finished the game already and it ran very stable throughout the entire time I played it; I just don't understand why a game like GoW - when set to Ultra graphical settings - wouldn't utilize the GPU as much as it should?
A tech-savvy friend of mine speculated that it's because GoW was ported to PC and was not actually made to run on PC in the first place, but that doesn't explain why some people might experience this while others don't.

Honestly, I feel like you're just getting the wrong readings. It's impossible to get 60fps on Ultra with only 15% GPU usage, even with an RTX 3090. Try and install MSI Afterburner, play the game for a few minutes and check the readings from it. If it shows the same usage, then your system's readings are incorrect. I suspect your GPU's working fine at 100% but you're getting the wrong readings.

my cpu is only 22% usage and 3070 constantly at 98%-99% at ultra 1440p

If you didn't already, try to set the fps limit to 60 in the game options and see if it helps
