Kratos falling through the floor

This is a reupload from a post I made in May, I tried redownloading the game and it still isn't working, Any ideas?

"So I recently got the game and have been plowing through it. When I got to the part where Mimir blows the horn to talk to Jormungandr and Jormungandr moved the bridge with his head Kratos fell through the floor. At the time it was silly and I just reloaded and I could move on (The objective still asks for me to talk to the World Serpent but I've done that so that's another glitch that needs to be addressed but not the most pressing issue).

But now the elevator is stuck up at the horn with no way for me to bring it down and I can see through the floor to the sky above. This is no big deal as I can just walk around the giant hole in the floor of the bridge but now I've made my way back up the mountain and Baldur has grabbed Atreus. There's a scene on the bridge where I have no control over Kratos' movements and he runs right into the giant hole in the floor over and over and over. I can't continue the game any more and have no idea what to do.

I tried looking online and found out this was a similar issue upon release FOUR YEARS AGO, when the game originally came out on PS4. There's no fix according to them. Reinstalling didn't work, loading later saves didn't work. Nothing.

What do I do??"

I just had a similar thing occur to me, not falling into a hole, but when the world serpent starts moving the bridge, I snaped through the floor of the moving bridge, then the floor of the main ground bridge and fell outside of the map into an endless white abyss. Thankfully, I hit a death barrier and got respawned from brok's shop with the option to restart the cutscene. but, right now, after testing it again, i fell into the hole you mentioned and now i cant do ANYTHING. But even more fortunately I read your forum before I restarted so i had prepared a save file to escape this softlock. So, thank you for making this forum and helping me out and saving my game!
