Yes. After you made it to larger more open area, it's typical to have some stutters and framerate drops

Same. I have frame rate issues aswell, i don't have well above recommended specs but i dont play at max settings or even close to.

My system is a little older than yours but I had very few framerate issues and only for a moment changing the location

Running it off a Samsung 970 evo m.2 nvme so it should be plenty fast. I wonder if its just windows 11 making it run like hot garbage

Same when the the location changes it’s when it drops to 45 or 30 for a sec and when a it switches to a cutscene.

Yes, this game is not well optimized in the Shores of Nine area and Alfheim

Usually I get stutters when I'm near a door, probably loading a new area, it kinda sucks

Also, play GOW with shadows on high because thats how the original looks like, ultra makes the scenery too dark

Try disable Nvidia cache option? Its in the driver options dont use it with a very fast ssd.

Almost exact same specs as you 3090 and i9900k tried low and ultra and still have some micro stutters makes me almost feel like im drunk and its crazy cause 98% of the time its buttery smooth and with combat I feel like I have 0 hiccups i feel like....but random scene it just gives weird movement/hiccups even w/ gsync....I have no tearing or crazy drops usually hit 115-140fps running windows 11 and 1440p resolution also have hdr enabled haven't tried w/out hdr....

My specs aren't as good and I've had little to no performance issues.

Well glad to hear your not having issues. I sadly couldn’t get it to work perfectly smooth and refunded. Maybe once it’s on sale again for a bit cheaper I’ll give it a second go.

Yea that’s exactly the issue I was having I only got as far as when you take your son hunting and that’s as far as I got, the micro stutters and the frame drops on new areas were ruining my experience so I refunded. Hopefully I can get it to work once it goes on sale again for a cheaper than 30.
