AMD CPU/GPU Issues
We have added the reports regarding AMD CPU/GPUs to our Known Issues list.

Our team is currently investigating the issue and appreciates your patience in the meantime!

Since this is a hardware specific issue, we'd appreciate you opening up a ticket on our support page[support.sms.playstation.com] with as much information as you can provide.

We will be merging threads on that topic here.

Hi all --

With Patch 1.0.9, we have implemented small object culling to help reduce the number of objects being processed by the CPU. This change should improve minimum framerates in scenes where there are many objects on-screen at once, which had contributed to performance drops for some AMD users.

For more information, please refer to the 1.0.9 Patch Notes.

Slow Motion or FPS drop (probably?) Help please
I know I don't have a high end pc. Well, the game runs, no doubt. 90% of the time I can play it very well, but some times it goes on "super slow motion" (cut scenes included), what makes the game impossible to play for a few seconds, and then, go back to fully playable.

(happened before with A plague story: Innocence)

My specs:
i5 - 10400F
Radeon RX 5500 XT
16Gb Ram
SSD

Game going in slow motion for a few seconds (Please Help)
I know I don't have a high end pc. 90% of the time I can play it very well, but sometimes, the game goes on a super slow motion (even in the menu and cutscenes) for a minute or so, what makes the game impossible to play (at least to enjoy). I tried to low the graphic specs, limit the fps to 60, but it seems to not be the problem (trying on low and original).

PC Specs:
i5-104001F
Radeon RX 5500 XT 4gb
16 GB Ram
Running the game on SSD

EDIT: It runs GTA V, Witcher 3, Sekiro with no problems.
(BTW, had this problem before with A Plague Story: Innocence)

EDIT 2: Ok, i'm experiencing a HUGE FPS drop. From 90-100 to 10-15. It doesn't look like having a patern. By exemple, just did a fight against 5 enemies, smooth. And when the fight was over, the fps dropped.

Constant FPS drops
I played for about an hour now and the fps seem to drop pretty hard from 60 to 40 then 50 then 30 and so on and I already play on the lowest settings

my specs
Mainboard: B450 Gaming Pro Carbon
GPU: AMD R9 390 8GB VRAM
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
16 GB RAM DDR4

Can anyone help?

AMD driver timeout
I'm using the AMD Radeon R9 390 series, after a few minutes of gameplay the game goes on the fritz with a a few seconds of severe visual bugs (stretchy models, colors going crazy, etc) then it freezes and Radeon software pops up saying there was a timeout.

Can I fix this, if so, how?

Performance Issues 5950x / 6900xt
Hello,

**** UPDATE ******

It seems to be a AMD issue as I saw the same problems on the reddit page. AMD systems are experiencing very inconsistent framerate and especially on that first big fight its terrible.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Been playing now for about an hour and the game runs pretty good overall like 90-110fps on max settings 1440p but I did run into an issue.... On the first big fight with the other dude I norse dude I dont even know his name my FPS tanked from 120's down to like 50-60 often and kinda stayed there.

Anyone else have some weird FPS drops on a high end system? Anyone else have a similiar setup to mine running it good?

i have a 5950x and a 3080 and have not had any issues during or after those fights.

Yeah I know but 50-60 FPS is still playable with a GSync/Freesync display

I'm running the file verification now, but besides that, everything there has been tested, and my issue was not on the known issues list. If anyone finds a fix, please let me know, while I attempt the official channels.

6900 XT as well first level and first big fight had masive slow downs at times camera turning with mouse feels stuttery as well not even sure if its due poor optimisation fps or mouse support being really bad like poor implementation or whatever, i remember Days gone did not use raw input either at first, this might get merged with the sticky, as there big performance thread sticky on top.
my specs are on my profile btw.

AMD GPU users beware!
This game runs TERRIBLY on AMD, and i would wait for patches before buying

My 6800 XT is getting below 60 and even 50 fps at times, regardless of settings or FSR.

If anyone has any solutions or tips i would love to hear them.

Full specs:

AMD 6800 XT
i9 10900KF
16 GB RAM
