VRR flickering on OLED display
Hello. I have severe VRR flickering when playing the game on an LG C9 OLED. Yes I know that kind of behaviour is common with OLED and VRR but i have never seen it this bad. If i disengage Gsync everything is fine but cant stand tearing. Happens with or without the use of DLSS. Only in darksih grayish areas. I dont know if the devs have tested this on an OLED with gsync but if its possible to do so? Is there anything special that happens with gamma manipulation in this game? I have played many other games that have darker enviroments ( RE2 remake for example) and this flickering is not noticeable. Also when this happens there is not big fps fluctuation. Can any of the devs answer this? Greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a Samsung Q80T that has VRR and I’ve noticed it as well.
I know this is going to sound odd and contradictory. I know exactly what flickering you are referring to, in the Nvidia control panel (assuming you have an nvidia card), manage 3d settings, go to the program settings and find your game, then turn v-sync on while disabling vsync in game. Yes, I know, sounds contradictory. Without knowing exaclty how you have both Nvidia Control Panel set and what the settings are on your tv, I suggest going over these articles. What did it for me was setting VSync on within Nvidia Control Panel.

Here are four articles you can read. Blurbusters explains and has links to describe WHY (this word is a clickable link within the article near the top) setting v-sync only in nvidia control panel - 3d settings for program is necessary.

The Linus Tech Tips has pretty much all of the settings you should use for Nvidia Control Panel, as well as the TV.
