We have added a fix that allows Atreus to be reset to his default state upon restarting from check point or loading a saved game.

I wrecked my save so you don't have to. This bug is 100% trainer related. I cleared the Muspelheim stuff without a hitch without the trainer enabled, no T-Pose, no bugs, nothing.

Then I went back on a backup version of that savegame and turned on one-hit kills and believe it or not, as soon as one of the enemies went for Atreus the bug started happening as soon as the combat was over. Doesn't matter which Trial, it's always the same result. I even went out of Muspelheim and tried it in the wild, same result.

So, anyone who is experiencing this "bug" be honest about whether or not you used cheats and maybe go back to a savegame that was before you used them. That seems to be the only solution as the "bug" corrupts your savefile permanently.

If you have this bug without using any form of cheats, there's a good chance your savefile got corrupted in another way and the same solution might help you. Just find the point in the game where the corruption happened (it transfers to all subsequent saves and autosaves naturally) and see if loading a save from earlier fixes it. Otherwise your only chance is to restart the game as I don't see or think how Santa Monica Studios is gonna help you here.

I think they merged them all to one thread because there were quite a few of them within a couple of hours. And thank you for marking my post as the answer.

I just wanna say that I'm absolutely not judging anyone who cheats in Singleplayer games. I've beaten this game four times on PS4 and Platinum-ed the sucker, so I can totally see why cheating at certain spots is very tempting especially on the harder difficulties. Muspelheim especially can be very challenging at points, and if you've done all of it legit on console with lots of cursing already, sure, why not fire up a trainer and short cut. You've had the full experience after all.

That said, at least just be honest about it, folks. It helps everyone in pinpointing the issue and finding a workaround. Other cheats like resources and crafting seem fine btw, I couldn't reproduce the bug there. So if you wanna cheat, maybe just use those, give yourself massive amounts of silver and XP and just unlock all skills and upgrade a few of the better armors before you should be able to. Player level (the number above your stats) is a much bigger factor in making fights easier than the game will have you believe.

1. Идите в Муспельхейм, делайте сохранение перед прохождением испытания.
2. Пишите в любом вашем поисковике God of War [Engine:Unknown], заходите на 10 страницу и качайте файл Cheat Engine.
3. Открывайте CT, инжектите в игру и ищите строку Kill All Enemies and heal Атрей.
4. Заходим в игру и начинаем проходить любое испытание, нажимайте кнопку Kill All Enemies and heal Атрей и ждите конца испытания.
5. После конца испытание делаете еще раз сохранение(не перезаписывайте старое)
6. Заходите в меню и ВОЗВРАЩАЕТЕСЬ НА КТ.
После этого всё должно заработать.
У меня всё отлично после данных действий.

Your savegame got corrupted either cause you used cheats (specifically one-hit kills or anything modifying damage) or you just got really unlucky. 99% of the people with the "bug" used cheats, but who knows, you might be the 1%.

Either way, you need to load a savegame that is from before you used the cheats, or find the one from before it got corrupted through a one in a million freak accident. Otherwise the only way is to start over.

That bug is pretty strictly related to using 3rd party cheats. If you cant load a save where it is unaffected then sadly your whole save is corrupted.

It's not really unrecoverable, you just need to Google it more. I was tired from running from the top to bottom to top of Muspelheim, so I decided to cheat a little. Obviously, it broke Atreus, but after Googling, I healed Atreus.
So here's the lesson for you - don't use one hit kills.

Atreus tposing and can't progress

Just got to mountain ascent and all of a sudden Atreus is in a tpose and won't do anything. When I change areas he just teleports and sits there. I'm on a puzzle where I need him to shoot arrows but nothing happens

That bug is related to using cheats. If you cant load a save that fixes him then youll have to figure out another solution.
