Update

We have added a fix that allows Atreus to be reset to his default state upon restarting from check point or loading a saved game.

If you have any additional issues, please make a new thread.

I was thinking that im the unique that happens this issue. Maybe some early fix will solve this? Or it is a corrupted save?

i also have this issue. atreus is stuck tposing on me. launching the game doesnt do anything except, making a new save. my guess is the save is corrupted. kinda in a bummer spot to glitch out on me too, i just finished the niflheim realm. so.

Atreus glitch not moving

I have done the muspelheim challenges. When starting the challenges, Atreus has stopped moving. Now Atreus doesn't shoot arrows and does the T-Pose constantly, I need Atreus to shoot the lightning arrow to keep moving forward but I can't do anything.

Is there anything I can do? I've tried loading a previous game, fast travel and so on. The only time Atreus works well is on the boat, as soon as I get off it the glitch happens.

Just stop using cheats, guys. It's literally that simple. It's hilarious seeing all you guys post here and in the technical section. It's not a bug. It's a result of you turning on cheats (specifically most likely one hit kills). Load an older save game, no patch will fix this.

Email their support then, they'll probably ask you to send them a copy of your save file so they can see what the issue is then since this would be up there as a gamebreaking concern.

I haven't seen anyone report this as an issue expect for people who used trainers.

It doesn't really matter. The T-pose bug is a result of the save file being tempered with. Whatever tool you do it with is completely irrelevant. The result is the same.

Atreus Unusable!!!

I really don't understand whats going on with this game. My specs are TOP NOTCH, and the game runs freaking wonderful graphics wise. However ever since following the witch back down the mountain right before Alflheim, Kratos could only walk like 1mph, and Atrues would lockup in place into a "T" position. I have been able to progress a little bit further, but without being able to use Atreus during any battle. I zero access to shooting arrows! Now Kratos is asking Atreus to shoot a like rock on Alfleheim and to let loose his arrow on Kratos command, except I can aim the bow, and even get the target highlight! However, no matter what I do, I cannot loose the arrow, and now my progress is entirely bugged out. Making this game unplayable at this point, and I am just far enough into the game, that I refuse to start over on the CHANCE that it will not bug out again. This is the worst feeling a gamer can expect from a brand new $50 game!!! I mean, I cannot even progress past this damn point, and the developers already have my money, and I am beyond 2hours into the game, so you already know Steam's answer!

Anyone else having this issue at all? I truly hope this is not a unique situation, and likely to never get fixed! I am very LIVID! I waited so long to play this but refuse to try and get a Playstation 5 (and obviously at this time i'm not buying an previous gen system!). ANy responses at all would be great, especially if there is a workaround? This really is a wonderful story that I'd like to finish for myself! I didn't pay $50 to watch the free videos of the cinematics on YT dammit!

Yeah, load a save game from before you tempered with things. The T-pose bug is a known issue of using trainers or Cheat Engine with this game. There's rumors it's related to tempering with damage but anything could cause it. Your only way out is to load a savegame that has not been tempered with.

naw man youre not the only one. same thing happened to me. the only thing i found that would fix it, is making a new save unfortunately.

Yes, this issue is shared by many people. Know what they all have in common? They tempered with their save files. Trainers, Cheat Engine, you name it. The T-pose bug is exclusive to that so far. So, whatever you did, load a savegame from before you did it, and don't do it again.

A friend of mine has the same bug and doenst even know how to use a Taskmanager nor how to inject a File per hook or whatever.

Using that program doesn't have anything to do with injecting a file or task manager.

I have tried it, I have loaded several previous games, and the only loaded game that works well for me is in alpheim, I have advanced a lot from there...

I haven't use any type of trainer, neither CE nor anything like that, the bugg started at starting a challenge in muspelheim, I ingored it thinking that when I left it would be fixed, but it hasn`t.
