Does new God of War was cancelled?

I heard some news about Sony liveservice game And some games was cancelled I am really worried about the new God Of War game

There was apparently a live-service GoW being developed which was cancelled. That game wasn't being developed by Sony Santa Monica (SSM). It is not know what SSM is currently working on whether that is a continuation for GoW or a new IP.
