Not launching - (SOLVED)

Just purchased 3 hours ago, finally installed and I make it a habit to verify files in steam after I install a game. BUT the game won't launch. When I press PLAY, it just goes back to PLAY. It's not my system, I can play much more heavy and demanding games than this on my rig. Any ideas?

If anyone has the same issue and comes by this post. What solved for me was reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, specifically the link below. Install it (takes only a couple of seconds), restart your computer and run the game as admin. Hope it helps!
