The AA could be better besides that the game runs good.

I said the port is fine for players like you. You only have about 20 hours of playtime, what bugs can you possibly know of? Besides, DLSS ≠ max settings.

what problems do you have with that port ?

IDK what you are on about seriously bro...not a single bug, nor crash for me, game runs in smooth 60 FPS, and everything works as should.

My brother finished the game fully on PC with 0 bugs or crashed, playing since release.

Then you and your brother aren't as thorough and perceptive as I am. I know at least 3 ways to make the game crash. Some of the basic bugs affect all the players. You just don't notice that. And what does framerate have to do with it? You didn't even read the topic, did you?

This port is considered good by the likes of you. Just finish it once and move on.

I played the game twice (GMGOW and GMGOW+) and had one crash in Helheim and that was it. Beyond that I didn't see any reason to play the game as I had the plat done on my NG run and the NG+ run was just to complete GMGOW+, unlock all perfect tier items and upgrade all of them.

Gameplay wise the only known bug I know of is in NG+ in terms of resource shortage is that you don't get 2 Leiptr Alloy for upgrading Grip of Tanngiost+. Magni and Modi are supposed to drop one but they do so only in NG and not NG+. This bug (intentional or not idk) exists even in the current PS4 version and has carried over to PC.

Idk how many runs of the game do you expect people to do to thoroughly examine the game for its fault points. If 2 runs of the game is not enough, you probably need to change your perspective tbh.

Every time you mention difficulty, you mention you've played the game on GMGoW and GMGoW+ like it's some kind of huge accomplishment. You're doing this since the beginning and it's getting real old. Stop stressing it.

That's not the only time you don't get resources in NG+ that you normally get in NG. You don't know much about the bugs, then.

You're missing the point of the topic. Stop derailing it.

If the Leiptr Alloy bug isnt the only gameplay bug in NG+ according to you then why don't you list them all out so that everyone can know.

IIRC, I was able to fully max out every NG+ item in the game except Grip Of Tanngiost+. If you do a 100% playthrough, you will get enough of all other resources. Niflheim and Muspelheim totally depend on the amount of grinding you do.

Says who? I do what I please. If I want to play through the whole game 50 times, then that's my business.

A couple of serious issues are listed in the topic. Read it and follow the links before posting comments.

The fact that you have linked threads like particles and such might be an issue or whatever but in the grand scheme of things, is not a show stopper. Unless you are an eye candy enthusiast who is going over graphical effects with a fine tooth comb, majority probably won't care.

Digital Foundry I think did a comparison side by side between PS and PC and I don't think they ever had anything negative IIRC. Unless its a game breaking bug where you cannot get an item or progress with a quest then thats a different matter which obviously needs to be fixed ASAP.

The game came out on April 20, 2018. The port came out on January 14, 2022. Almost 4 years later.

It's been 6 months since release. We've had 12 patches (two of them are technically hotfixes) and one hotfix. Most of the changes adress PC specific issues. That means they don't want to go near the game itself. Content, if you will. So all the bugs that the latest PS version has, we have on PC as well.

The game has issues of all sorts. Gameplay bugs coming from PS version. Downgrade issues, PC specific problems, issues introduced in one of the patches.

The list of known issues is laughable. I haven't played for over a month, but it took me less than 5 to get to over 1000 hours in this game on PC alone. I can easily expand this list to 75+ issues.

Last patch was released 31.05.22 (patch 1.0.12, version 1.0.475.7534, Steam BuildID 8813492). No patches are currently in development. Their support[support.sms.playstation.com] doesn't respond to tickets. It used to, but they don't care anymore. I've reported a couple of dozens of issues just to see if they have any inclination to fix their own game. That was months ago and they fixed nothing.

If you are a player who just wants to play through the game once and forget about it, then the port is probably fine for you.
Otherwise, you'll get no support from SMS. Depending on post-release content, games typically lose support after a year or so. They abandoned this port in less than six months. Nobody's active on Steam Community Hub, no patches in development, the support doesn't respond. The only thing they did in the past month was that Steam Sale discount announcement. That's literally the only thing they did.

For those who ask me to list the bugs:

Why would I do that? There are over 75 issues in my list. What makes you think I want to carefully explain every last one of them in several posts with videos and screenshots? Just for your information? Think again.
Of all the bugs I've submitted on their support site (which, from what I was told, is monitored by SMS staff) they fixed nothing. I won't be wasting my time explaining this again to some community manager or supports staff that have nothing to do with actual development.

I'll only do that if contacted by the devs directly. In case they actually want to clean their mess up.

We bought this, and although my son's pc is clearly overspec, this does not run. I asked for a refund. We had written to the game's support, but never received an answer. Still, we have not received an answer. It is very sad. My son was so psyched about playing this game.

did you buy this in steam?
user1854669 Aug 14, 2022 @ 10:31am
havent played the game in over a month but when I did it played well. Recently felt like playing it again only for it to be laggy as hell. The stutters are so bad. Did some update do this on purpose and if so can I revert the updates cause the game was amazing the first few weeks i played it. I didnt crash there was no bugs that prevented me from finishing the story or anything.

I could lower the settings but thats the problem the first time I played I didnt have to lower anything and it played well.

You shouldn't assume I have issues, https://streamable.com/17f6nv

I'm simply not blinded to the issues this game has, including the noticeable downgrades from the PS4 version (same way I don't have issues on HZD, and you don't see me on the HZD Forums saying the game is a fine port).

The ignorance from the developer team doesn't help, they brushed off most of the issues and couldn't even fix what they recognized need fixing (they been radio silent for months, and no longer answer support requests either).

I give it to them, they managed to beat Ubisoft record in terms of game support, not even 6 months and they went radio silent.

Is this the type of Publisher/Developer you wanna support? Is this the future you want for PC gaming?

People like you are half to blame for the poor support we have on PC, there always some white knights saying the game is perfect, accepting mediocracy.

The game works great for me also. Not one issue from start to finish. Would you like me to start making up issues, for the sake of it?
