I don't get why the PC Port is so highly praised
I may not have the best rig in the World (i5-9600k, RTX 2060 Super, 8GB of RAM) but it doesn't matter what Settings I play on, 80% of my Playtime the Game dips below 60fps on 1080p.
I was really looking forward to a stable performance, but for me this is worse than the Difficulty Mode (Give me God of War) that I am playing on.
Anyone have any tips on how to get at least stable 60fps? I watched the Digital Foundry Video, I tried out a ton of different recommended settings but no luck.

UPDATE (before more people come into this Thread and tell me to upgrade my RAM):
I ALREADY UPGRADED MY RAM AND IT DIDN'T HELP.

UPDATE 2: The problem is already solved. Before I get more messages that my PC or my GPU is trash or bad or a potato, I can play the Game in 60fps now, even on Ultra Settings for the MOST part, but I put it down to original and a few other things on high for more consistency.
Steam User 3 am actually helped me fix it, and it was not my "trashy PC", it was a problem that I had 2 Overlays (Steam Overlay AND Nvidia Overlay).
Also I put on VSync in the Nvidia Menu. That's it.
So this thread can actually be closed or ignored now. (Unless some more people want to tell me how bad my PC or GPU is :) )

Use DLSS. Lower the quality. You're running a 2060, not a 2080.

The port is praised mainly to encourage Sony to release more ports on PC. The port itself is not that great as was Horizon Zero Dawn and Day's Gone.

The port itself is very good, it just has a huge memory leak issue at the moment especially when fast traveling within midgard. On my system with 32GB of ram after a 4 hour play session I notice a couple frame drops with the memory on my PC hitting 30/32GB. A game restart fixes this. You most likely are experiencing this, unless the frame drops are happening with a fresh game restart.

But I AM using DLSS. Still it doesn't matter what DLSS Option I use, I can't get stable 60fps

Days gone had a very nice port, i use a 1060gtx 6gbyte and got mostly 60fps there and zero crashes. I agree with horizon which was a crash disaster, this one runs stable but like the op sayed it could run with more fps on low end cards. With my 1060gtx it should at least be possible to reach 60fps at original settings in 1080p, i could use ffs which brings me far over 60fps but i am not sure how much the graphic suffers from this.
Share with us your settings.
well lol this game is so liniear... Not even open world and it runs like a trashcan indeed.
Game is not even very sweet lookin on a lot of spots.
Also dont forget this game runs on a potato aka console so it cant be that heavy.

At the moment I just use everything on original, I dabbled a bit with custom settings, but it seems to get worse.
For DLSS atm I stay at balanced.
VSync on.

Looks like the problem is on your RAM is just 8GB, you can try upgrade that since 8GB is barely enough for 2022. Seriously, upgrading RAM will boost your performance since the game has more room to load the assets

You forgot that the PC version actually is an upgraded visual version

Are you only using 8GB of RAM in your system or is that your 2060 Super?

But I have to say, every Game, including Horizon Zero Dawn or Days Gone I could play fine. This is the first Game that is giving me problems. Even newer Games like Halo Infinite run perfectly.
