In my opinion, even though the gameplay is completely different from previous games, it's a bit of a downgrade, and the difficulty? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it is more artificial than a cyberpunk lady ass. + I kill the same giant everytime, same werewolf, same gollem, same movesets, the only difference is their color and element.
But you know? I'm kinda enjoying the exploration, enviroment, the graphics and stuff. In addition, the story is indeed a great one, no doubt. However, having Atreus being the exact opposite of Kratos, sometimes it feels he's not his son at all, his dialogues are bad, it looks as if he wasn't raised by a Spartan at all. And I know Kratos tried to hide that for several reasons, but no way can a man or god release his military formation out of the blue.
"Whatever"
Proceeds to walk away like a kid from early 2000.
And oh, boy... The gameplay...
The gameplay is definitely a downgrade, not saying is terrible but, it makes me wanna go back to play the previous trilogy.
Honestly, I'm gonna finish this game and uninstall, not worth the platinum. Of course I would still recommend for fans since this is a continuation of Kratos main path and that's all. 7 out of 10 game.
