Does this game work with an xbox one controller?

I cannot find a single resource showing how to fix this. I had it working fine a year ago. On PC, Steam. Controller works on all other games, just not God of War.

Any suggestions?

i use my xbox one controller to play via steam, yes... i cannot play with kbd/mouse... i'm on linux, though, and in my case, i must have Steam Input enabled for my controller to be seen...

also, i do not use any custom controller layouts...

Well damn. Decided to try it again. Looks like the issue was that I had steam input activated. Turned off steam input and it works perfectly.

Yes, don't listen to the guy above, the Steam Input API messes up with the Xinput API, which is official API for Xbox Controllers.

If you have an Xbox Controller, you should always disable the Steam Input API, since it causes keybinding issues, and has input lag in comparison to the Xinput API.
