Only one of those are correct. You just need a controller and a relatively decent pc depending on what you're emulating. It's not hard to use an emulating program. If you can use an options menu in games then you can use an emulator.

Sadly it may not get more attention thanks to journalists, the original trilogy has been called dumb and immature when 2018 came out which drove away a lot of the newer fans from trying out the original games

You do realize Steam is just marketplace? It's Sony's decision to release GoW trilogy on steam. But judging by fact they do not release Uncharted Collection I doubt we will see it.
GoW Ragnarok - sure but old GoW - yeah doubt.

Umm maybe but the lack of a Uncharted and GoW collection makes it hard for me to justify buying any of the later games...it's why I'm just wishlisting them and mostly debating about emulating them at some point. Not everyone wants to start half way through a book...plus not porting them basically means less money for them.

I've been wanting this so bad, It's actually why I've been holding out on buying GoW 2018 for so long. I wanted to play the entire series, but now with Ragnarok releasing in September I may as well pick this game up on sale and play through it before hand! I've been madly in love with the Playstation Studios published games like Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel's Spider-Man, Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbbiden West, Uncharted etc.

+1 I want the whole triology, also the PSP god of war as well, never played those 2 before.

I think its strait up lame and dumb to port a game and then not give players the backlog of titles so they can experience the full story. Older gow titles would probably sell well as a package. same thing with older uncharted, gears etc.
