Because he just wants to show off and pretend he's some expert. You spam a bunch of videos that no one will watch and he hopes the sheer number of links will make us conclude that's he's an expert. He's desperate. His insane reaction to me calling him shows how sensitive he is about it.

Yes, which is how basically everyone plays because you'd be foolish to not just spam all the OP attacks in every fight. That's kind of a problem with the combat in general.

To an extent, but I felt this doesn't really blossom until late in the game and spamming cooldowns and rage was still a bit part of it, especially to keep enemies from upgrading their level.

Instead of doing a normal combo even for smallest trash mobes you need to do some tricks to handle em. I never said it's impossible. I said it is tedious.
The held-R1 attack from behind an enemy is a great stagger tool. Sadly the problem is trying to manuever behind them and not turn during the move. I find Hel's Touch was pretty nice to stagger them from behind to setup the attack and it's one of the first runics you get. Sadly, this doesn't help with the tedious part but it's something else to shoot for, especially early on.

No, I get a sick joy from mocking these internet tough guys and tearing them down, especially someone who thinks he's some gaming expert like our mark here. But Xeno's kind of like playing on easy mode since he provides half of the insults himself.

You join this threat with an incredible toxic behavior and spamming youtube links. Attention seeking is that called. Dude i am sure someone loves you somewhere. Get some help. Seriously. This is not making your life better. It is depressing to think about a person so lonely and sad. No one deserves this. Whereever you are and whatever you think of yourself there is definatly someone you can call to get some help.

I'll be the adult here. Honestly, it was miserable for the first half of the game, even as a veteran of souls-like games, it was pretty difficult, but not in a fun way, mainly in the grind before you unlock all of the mechanics, and resurrection stones. Just a groundhog day of waiting for the enemies to move in just the right way so I can win.
I remember even my boyfriend commenting on how pissy and frustrated I was getting. My biggest memory of this is at the start of the game, When you and Atreus fall through the bridge he rushes over , dumping a wave of draugr, some ranged, and then some heavies, before you have many of the tools you'd use for it. It made a lot of those early fights the very gimmicky, annoying mess you or someone else mentioned.
Once it got past that point though? I loved the difficulty, although there are a few areas where they just dump enemies on you and it very quickly turns annoying and frustrating. Like an 8/10 on execution, it was clearly a last second thought of "oh hey, people these days like one hit, dodge focused action games, let's add that".
I'd definitely not recommend it for the first playthrough after having done it myself, but would 2000% recommend trying it on a re-run. Getting frustrated is not worth it, especially if you're just playing this game for the story, or you are playing gmGoW for the completion/100% rewards lol.
Browsing the thread and that annoying elitist child's youtube vids showed me it can be easy, but it also uses gimmicks that the game doesn't explain are there, or just appear to be bugs/glitchs. I'm not going to pretend that's normal or should be considered lol.
Haha ya i remember that moment too. All of those guys are super tanky and you got no skills or equipment. I tried to throw as many of em of the ledge as possible as each of the enemies easaly takes 10-15 hits to kill.
It must be amazingly hard to make a game challenging and fun at the same time. Sifu did a good job here. GoW sometimes yes. But other itimes you are forced to play extremly passiv and dodge around all the time to avoid hits.
I am now facing my first werwolves in ragnarok on my GmGoW run. I got not many tools or items. Those guys literally tank 30 hits before they die and they barely ever flinch.
I am just dashing in with the spin attack and then dodge. Rinse and repeat 20-30 times. That is just not much fun.
Yea in 2018 i enjoyed GmGoW aslo a lot. except some encounters that where annoying. Ragnarok so far is not as pleasing on GmGoW but i yet have to finish it. Somehow it feels like Ragnarok is a bit more spongy.
