With that out of the way let's get started. For me personally I'm familiar with Hildr's movesets so my gears of choice won't make much difference but I have a general recommendation for Niflheim maze.
Core:
My approach is about dealing more runic damage so I made Ivaldi's Cursed Mist armor set which boost Runic. Then I use Ivaldi's Corrupted Mind (gained by defeating Valkyrie Olrun) to weaken enemies around me within 15 meters which seems also works on Valkyire but it surely weakens other enemies if you want to grind other rooms. I also use Eye of Niflheim (found in one of the legendary chests in the center storeroom iirc which requires you to grind some mists to open but it's worth it) to increase my surviving time in the mist which is super helpful if you are new to the game.
Talisman/Amulet:
The above is the core of my build. Then I'd consider use Kvasir Amulet to gain realm shift by dodging at the last minute which is super helpful in fighting challenging enemies like Valkyries if you are familiar with their movesets. If you want to parry Hildr's ice attack you should use Golden Protection amulet instead which increase your dodge and parry window. Or you can use Talisman of Realms to trigger realm shift yourself which provides you window to use Runic Attacks and general attacks.
Miscellaneous:
Then you can work on getting better cooldown since if you use my gears above you want to use your Runic Attacks more often. Then you can use enchantment that gives you more sprint speed and dodge distance if you have those
I have a video in which I grind 6 rooms in Niflheim Maze which is on Give Me God of War+ difficulty. I know it's NG+ gameplay but you can have similar gears and enchantment in NG as well. The only difference is in NG+ Kvasir Amulet+ can be turned into an enchantment and I can still use Talisman of Realms. But that doesn't matter because we are talking about dealing with Hildr here and you can choose either Kvasir Amulet for the realm shift by dodging at the last moment or Talisman of Realms to create realm shift and use runic attack within it

Or complaining that the game doesn't run right. Steam boards are nice but it feels like 50% of the questions are folks who have some dumb setting that makes the game run poorly.
Talismans don't matter to me for Valkyries since they all function the same...just anything that can inflict stun and open her up to a combo...especially good for Valkries that use the shield but I don't remember if Hildr is one of them. The name of the game is recognizing the attacks and avoiding them, especially the straight dash-stab they all do...you can ONLY avoid that when dodging and it's easily the least-telegraphed move. The other difficult one is the stomp move since she can take off so quickly...it's hard to see that one coming and be able to dodge in time sometimes.
Wrong. Talisman are different from each other. Kvasir Amulet gives you realm shift by dodging at the last minute which provides tons of attack window and Golden Protection talisman gives you larger parry window which enables you to parry Valkyries's ice, feather and tracing projectiles attacks while normally you can only block those
And Hildr doesn't stomp or dash stab. Her moves include ice attacks, scythe shockwave, charging double scythe slashes, wing shield, double wing slashes, jumping double scythe slashes after wing slashes, hammer strike after wing slashes, dive in grab. If she does stomping or dash stab, that can only mean you wrongly attack her when she's using wing shield after which she can use other Valkyrie's moves.
I was referring to the cooldown/relic attacks so I used the wrong term there. The physical R1/R2 attacks can all be similar but I prefer the stun-based ones. Simple stuff like Hel's Touch and Ivaldi’s Anvil that come out quick.
>Kvasir Amulet gives you realm shift by dodging at the last minute which provides tons of attack window
Please. You don't need time-stop to do damage after a dodge. This isn't Bayonetta. Plus it screws up the timing on subsequent dodges and can arguably make the fight more difficult, especially if a Valkrie spams an attack that needs multiple moves.
Much better to save that Talisman spot for something better like the one that refills your cooldown powers instantly. Spamming four relics at once is pretty nice.
>Protection talisman gives you larger parry window which enables you to parry Valkyries's ice, feather and tracing projectiles attacks
Well, which one is it? You suggested one that requires perfect dodges and then suggest another one that could help with perfect parries. So players are expected to last-minute-dodge perfectly but then need help to do a simple parry? And the damage you get from returning projectiles is piddly crap against a Valkyrie anyway. No reason to not just block those.
Again, a real player shouldn't need these crutches just to dodge or block things and it's a waste of a Talisman slot to suggest those, especially if we're talking about Hard mode and up. And the parrying window is more than generous compared to most games anyway.
>And Hildr doesn't stomp.
Probably explains why I didn't have that much trouble with her. From that moveset, only the double-scythe is really an issue and that's only because she strings it together with other stuff...and even then it's only an issue if you fail to parry.
You see you are the type of person who just made it here 2 minutes and you believe you are smarter but after all you aren't even familiar with neither talisman or Valkyries. You aren't even ignorant in a creative way. I don't have to do any explanation for you but it's just you that have to spend more time in the game
Now now explain to me why I don't see Hildr does stomp or charge in stab in the video. Oh I just forgot you can't watch videos because those videos I post is beyond your understanding
https://youtu.be/urbKHYHDpTQ?t=275
Oh, you're not going to run and hide in this thread? Well that's new.
> made it here 2 minutes and you believe you are smarter
Oh, my mistake. You are going to run from the argument. I see...
So rather actual argue against the points I made, you'd rather make up facts about me so you can label me as a noob? Ignoring how awful this logic is, it also makes you look worse since a simple noob was able to shoot down all your elite suggestions. If you're being outwitted by a noob like me than what does that say about you, Mr Pro?
>you aren't even familiar with neither talisman or Valkyries.
I've disproven that already with the suggestions above. And given you've no evidence to support this point, you're clearly just scared and lashing out now.
> You aren't even ignorant in a creative way.
He says, as Xeno then ignores every specific point made.
>I don't have to do any explanation for you
Because you can't. Cute cheap excuse, though. Don't trip over your tail as you run off with it between legs.
ut it's just you that have to spend more time in the game
I spent enough time to know that I don't need a f***ing Talisman to help me parry in a fight. Maybe that's a crutch that a big expert like you needs but others are more bold in their gameplay choices.
>Now now explain to me why I don't see Hildr does stomp or charge in stab in the video.
Are you pretending that I'm claiming she does. I quite clearly stated that I couldn't remember in my first response. What the hell are you even arguing? God, you're so f***ing bad at this. I feel like I'm bullying a kid.
haha noob. Many noobs like you have typed longer here before you without being familiar with the game. Go back cry to your mom 'cause you don't have my attention KEKW
This coming from the guy who thinks you need to parry Valkyrie projectiles. Did you even look at the damage or did you pull that advice out of your ass too?
> But some noob with more ego than skills just rushed in talking nonsense
I assume you're referring to yourself here. Your advice was elementary and generic. Also, are you assuming I'm a noob simply because I haven't posted here in a while. Is that the brilliant logic you're using for that?
>Go back and do a fact check again
"Do a fact check?" THAT'S your comeback?
>Waste all your time as you wish
I don't need that much time to make you look bad. You do that well enough on your own.
>This comment is awaiting analysis by our automated content check system. It will be temporarily hidden until we verify that it does not contain harmful content
>Go back cry to your mom 'cause you don't have my attention
Yes, I do. You respond after every post now. I'm clearly in your head already. You got challenged once and now you're throwing a tantrum.
You are welcome and ofc the other dude is but a noob who doesn't even know who is Hildr
