I agree with you, all the footage i've seen so far seems pretty much similar to maxed out pc gow 2018, except maybe for higher textures and bigger maps
Runs great for me at 2k and 4k using DSR, I wouldnt call it horrible by any stretch.
Probably because you know nothing about it and I run the game since launch then. 100% the game at least 4 times plus recording at least 30 no damage videos with 300 hours runtime on record. Thanks but no thanks.
I'm hoping the next shill can do a better job than this, hoping at least he can specify how deep he progresses into the game and runs the game with what specs and what fps he's getting
'Cause you don't ask?
Alright let me waste some time doing some simple recap here. God of War on PC uses DX11_1 API because Jetpack Interactive doesn't have enough manpower and resources to maintain the code if they use more more advanced lower level API with which they can do finer tunning to the game like DX12 or Vulkan. The problem with DX11 is it uses single thread for rendering which can cause CPU overhead but it also takes care of the porting process itself for the most part. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tF013HYQd2Q
Then because AMD Radeon drivers have been sucked at DX11_1 performance for years until 22.5.2 comes out after May 26th this year, AMD users had been having poor experiences in this game for months, including me. This means we have consistently lower than expected fps when we reach semi-open world area. I know you shills probably read some articles in which the author stated merely an AMD APU can run the game well but that's because they only did the benchmark in linear tutorial area so they can't see the problem. Let's collect some real benchmark results:

So after AMD has fixed their driver, everything works well right now right? Nope. Because memory leak issues still exist and there are still other performance issues and crashes. See:

Just to name a few. Yep, and I will copy and paste this small recap again and again for more people to read. No matter how many of you shills will be coming. You may be getting good performance with i9-13900K and RTX 4090 running this game that's designed to run on a PS4 ofc but you'd be dumb to call it well optimized
Alright, continue your shill job. Can't wait to see what new tricks you have. You can't rewrite the whole Internet to change the history anyways KEKW
