Any mod to remove Atreus

Hi, is there any mod that removes Atreus from combat? That kid is really annoying and it makes the game unplayable for me.

same here, Atreus constantly screaming and screaming throughout every fight is just ridiculous. makes the game unplayable. how did they not realise this when they playtested the game? bunch of actual idiots.

i had to stop playing about halfway through due to atreus being such an obnoxious and arrogant little ♥♥♥♥♥♥. and it gets 10 times worse after he learns the truth about kratos. there are even parts in the game where while you are ACTIVELY playing the game, he constantly nags you with dialogue such as, "um...shouldn't we be going somewhere?" and "we should get going" every 30-60 seconds! who in the absolute hell thought that was a good idea?

he'll also "help" you with solving puzzles by letting you know when you're near a clue. i don't want help, dude; i want to solve it myself! by far the best parts of the older gow games are the mindmelting puzzles that were very challenging, but so damn rewarding when you finally figure it out. so no, it's not because he's "just a kid." the writing is just bad and the battle mechanics are even worse. kratos moves like a slug in this game compared to preceding ones. dodging attacks is unbearably unreliable due to the fact that he literally moves and fights like an old man.

I hate kids but Atreus is fine. He may talk a lot, like any other kids, but he helps you fight. And the whole nagging every few minutes exists in every single game with a companion, to remind the player and make them feel like human beings

It'll probably still work but Kratos will become a Schizoprenic in the game, and so other characters as well talking to a ghost

I'm actually delaying replays of so many games because they have such absurd forced parts to play with someone else than the main character, like Spider-Man, for example. It's absolute trash to implement them and make them mandatory by default, it s*cks.
