For starters... on GMGOW NG you can't tackle Muspelheim that early as you are just way too weak... maybe on lower difficulties its possible. Also Olrun can be done before you go to the mountain cos you can quickly travel to Alfheim after curing Atreus.
I avoid backtracking whereas your route you are going back and forth which is just not ideal... I have to disagree
Thank you for corroborating my point...
Regarding your question on Muspelheim cipher pieces... yes you can get all of them before you revive Mimir... the 4 pieces are at
1. Cliiffs of the raven
2. Forgotten caverns
3. Mountain path (in a pit with poison gas and a lore marker)
4. Witch cave in the area that has a climbable wall to reach the turtle level (you need shock arrows)
If you're talking about me having a complex... you have one too... its called contradiction complex even if you can't admit it.
In any case, so what if he has finished the story... the order I mentioned works for 2 reasons...
1. The order has a flow to it and you get an idea that you do them by avoiding a haphazard travel path from one Valkyrie to the next and it can be followed on his NG+ playthrough without leaving them for the end.
2. The order I gave works for GMGOW difficulty while progressing in the story so it CAN APPLY to all lower difficulties too. Moreover., the early travel to Muspelheim before revving Mimir is solely for one reason... to unlock the two missable enchantments which are Glowing Gem of Nine and Mark of Brilliant Force in the shop menu.
While in theory you can fight Gondul first, it is not practically feasible on an NG playthrough.
