Collection of personal data policy. Will it be on this game or?
Noticed with Horizon Zero Dawn,Days gone,World War Z that these Sony titles require collection of personal data which is a no sale for me.

Is GoW going to enforce some type of personal data collection policy? And if so why?
If it is, that's a refund for sure.

Got something to hide?

Yes, personal information like bank details etc.

Days Gone gave you the option of either opting in or out of that. At release we will let you know if that is the case for this game or not.

That is great TreeTrunk. Cheers for responding.

I know I am not alone in not wanting to purchase a game and then have personal data collected.
I believe it's unethical, unwarranted and open for abuse.
Even if a company collects data innocently enough can they be trusted to protect that data.
Seeing how many triple A titles are hacked I would say no they can't.

I went to play World War Z aftermath the other day and could not access online unless I agreed to have personal data collected. No explanation on what personal data, no reassurances for why it needs to be collected etc.
This type of treatment of a customer should not be accepted.

I hope God of War's release does not make the same mistake World War Z has in alienating it's potential customers.

we are talking about the shadow legion pulling the strings in the backstage.
they have everything. technology so far advanced they could shoot a missile and aim for a camels anus.
they could if they wanted to frame you for violating that camel.
just be careful!

You are right FBC but they also know their will be consequences for them in the here and now not just the here after based on their actions.
For example I know of a man who took it upon himself to get rid of what the world would call a piece of filth. After watching this 'piece of filth' this man took it upon himself to judge whom he was watching (which no man should ever do because we are ALL sinners and if we take it upon ourselves to judge another we will be judged exactly the same - in fact it will be worse so that is why we are NOT to judge others) and killed the person he was watching.
Later this man who took it upon himself to be judge, jury and executioner on another had an accident where half of his BACKSIDE was cut off including his ANUS. so for the rest of this mans life he has to use a colostomy bag.

I do not fear those that can take my life but he that can destroy the soul.

this guy is delusional.
by framing you for the violation of that camel, your soul will be destroyed in the process because everyone ( including your family ) will think of you as a camel violator.
I doubt you can even imagine it. that which once roamed the desert, violated in the cruelest way possible. the camel. ooooooh camel, raped by ( insert name here ).

OK so if they have all his information already why do they need to implement spying technology into video games on top of that? He has every right to be concerned and just because a Government entity or whatever already has his information doesn't mean he can't say no to someone else getting it.
