Which kratos is stronger

i want to say that old young kratos is far stronger than his old new self but i haven't found any evidence that suggest otherwise anyone agrees on this ?

Being new to GoW, but vaguely familiar with the titan-ass whoopin' Kratos of past games. I'd actually like the lore explanation for this. Do 'gods' really get weaker as they age, or is that something unique to MC?

by the end of the trilogy he gains a new power with which he beats zeus. before that, having all the weapons and artefacts he still couldnt beat zeus. he was stripped from everything during that fight and at the end using that new power alone could beat him. i would say that right now he is smarter and more refined than back in the days when he was driven by anger and hate to the point where he wouldnt even blink sending people to die to set of the traps in front of him.

In my own head cannon, Kratos in the original trilogy is like perpetually stuck in spartan rage mode from this game. I just don't recall seeing him getting tired in the old games like he does in this one. His kill count back then was just insane, like the whole greek pantheon and some building sized titans to boot.

Sure would be nice of em to release the original remastered trilogy on PC to jog the ol memory.

Game studio says this most recent version of Kratos is the strongest, ages back when the game came out on PS.
The SOB flips a whole island temple weighing thousands of tonnes, way stronger than anything he's done in prev games!

100% old kratos is stronger back then he was unhinged - kratos now is pulling his punches. idk if you played the story but the end bit really puts everything he did in the past games in perspective and lets us know how he feels about it all

I definitely feel that Kratos from gow 1-3 is definitely stronger than the "New" kratos
this man killed titans and with the Blade of Olympus he is pretty much unstoppable and able to kill anything

Anyone can lose a step, Kratos has been in isolation with the help of his wife. He wanted to protect his family perhaps for as many years as it took his son to get to that age.

He’s still a god. They don’t really lose a step. At least Daddy Zeus didn’t even though Kratos beat him to a pulp.

believe someone said that the older the greek gods get the stronger they become, kratos is the strongest hes ever been, but hes holding himself back and in check prob for his son and himself cause he prob just wants to retire with all the horrible ♥♥♥♥ hes done and went through.

Cory Barlog, the creative director, said that Kratos is stronger than ever before in GoW4

So i call absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on that, no way. He seems to have slowed and weakened over the decades of peace. He struggles to cut up Draugr with an axe, when he would have been able to rip armoured undead olymus soldiers in half with his bare hands in GoW3
