Disable Death's Vow Armor Sets

Hi, is there any option how to disable Death's Vow Armor Set and all preorder bonuses?

I can feel with the OP. I hate the extra ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ items also with a passion. You buy a game that is a year old in a GOTY edition. You start playing and your whole inventar is stuffed with items.

And you don't know which ones are original and which once are there for the Shiny/money people.

But in GOW it is realy no problem. Just enjoy the game you will soon wear something better anyway.

So far I've only seen 1 talisman and 1 alternative set from get go. Inventory was empty otherwise. If from the start of the game there's a set with higher stats, u bet that is the 'added' one. Make your life easy and just don't wear it. Or do wear it, it doesn't really matter all that much in the end. (not directed against the quoted person, but an addition)

Not sure if more 'new' things get added along the path of the game but so far you're making a really big deal out of literally nothing. Go easy on yourself. Life can be more enjoyable if you want to.

The devs are giving you options. How you handle said options is on you. Not intended as torture and deffo not necessary to treat it as such.

I saw a similar post when FF15 was released and it came with that early weapon that was pretty much godly for half the game. Someone said the same thing "I want to get rid of it instead of simply ignoring it"

i still wonder what pre-order bonus? there was no pre-order bonus afaik. steam and other stores didn´t show any. that you got the death's vow set from the start isn´t really pre-order imho. i even missed it until a few fights later.

to answer your question: don´t wear that set, done...

to answer someone else... in most games you can see what was a bonus, like in cyberpunk to name just one.

Oh man that weapon was literally the best in the entire game. I loved that because ff15 also had combat that was already broken in two, so why not start out the game with legit the best weapon.

I wore the set and it was already made redundant by literally the first set you can buy from brok 40 minuets into the game.

could´ve helped with the first few fights i guess. but i managed without as well.

I actually had to drop the difficulty anyway on that fight with the big drauger after falling from the bridge. I forgot how hard the game can be. So the armour set really is worthless. If they actually made you pay for it as a pre-order bonus back when the game came out, that is a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.

only keystores might charge for that, if at all. why would the dev/publisher charge for it. thta´s not how pre-order works. and what do you mean back when it came out? it just came out... if you refer to the PS version... we´re on pc here...

you can also not turn down the highest difficulty, so you didn´t had that active at all. or did you restart? after i found the classic gamepad controls, the game is "easier" to handle for me. well it is more comfortable for sure.

learn to block, then you´re fine. dodge can actually be dangerous, you still can get hit, unlike other games, where you evade any attack that way.

There is simple DLC uncheck for almost all games, but it is missing in GoW for unknown reason.
