Issue with Audio Stuttering

Video is running okay (occasional slowdown but that seems to be more PC than anything else), but getting a lot of audio stutter as some have said (audio stops playing, and thewn plays all at once). Any tips/tricks? Thanks in advance.

Bad stuttering :(

GTx 1080, Ryzen 1800x, 16gb ddr4 ram
Game is awesome, looks good, combats fun. However it stutters a lot— and also sometimes the audio doesn’t play and then plays all at once although that’s only happened once. I might refund if I can’t fix it which is sad cuz it’s awesome

Days Gone initially had a problem with usb DAC's and stuttered like crazy, switching to monitor sound fixed it.

Please try the troubleshooting tips in the pinned thread. If those don't work, check to see if you're experiencing a Known Issue and if so try the workarounds in that thread.

Audio Stutter

Receiving a bug where the audio stutters during dialogue.
It begins to play, ceases, then resumes 3-4 seconds later.
Occurs during gameplay, but is even worse during cutscenes. The animations remain in tact, however the dialogue is delayed by several seconds.

No Audio and lots of stuttering since update.

Played almost 30 hours so far, no problems at all, except very minor stuttering when transition areas. No big deal, combat was super smooth.

But Audio is completely gone. I even checked my computer settings, they were off for some reason, but even after fixing that their still no audio and the game stutters almost every other frame. Its unplayable now. Just updated and now i can't play.

I'm having the same issue. Audio in cutscenes is completely broken.
Music and effects are very quiet and speech is completely gone.

Checked game settings, windows setting and drivers, but nothing helped so far.

i got here from google: the solution for me was to set the max fps to 60. It was on 120 before.

Yeah getting really bad stutters here too. All my drivers are up to date, tried messing around with different graphic settings in game and sound settings outside and nothing seems to change it.
