100% Download Stuck Verifying

It says that may game is complete but must verify and keeps staying locked at like 4% and will take 9 hours. I've cleared cache, restarted everything what do I do?

Same issue here man...I tried verifying the game files and no luck.

so i just let it ride out for like 45 minutes or so and it finished. doesnt actually take as long as it says

I know this is an old post, but I'm going to reply anyway so people (like me) with this problem in the future can get some help with it.

For some reason, Windows Defender real time protection makes the verifying process for this game super slow. Disabling it made mine change from 3 hours to 2 minutes, and I have a very high end PC.

Go to your windows search bar and start looking for Virus & threat protection, then click Manage Settings in the 2nd field, and inside that menu disable real time protection until it's done. Once it's done, probably a good idea to turn it back on.

Thanks man, this actually worked.
For those confused, if you don't have the option, disable/snooze/turn off the antivirus that "takes over" your windows defender and that disables real time protection for you.
Went from expected 1,5 hours to 3 minutes

wated my whole nioght trying to install this. disabling antivirus didnt work for me.. I had to torrent the game to install it. lame for game thats been out so long.

None of it worked. Got to 98% and it flat lines. Iv'e been playing the game for more than a year why now? I was almost done. I guess now I am.
