Cringe, nobody cares
As a PC Master race gamer, you have 80 games on Steam...
Cringe
God of War Ragnarok is, unfortunately, a PS4 game as well... I wish they would fully focus in the new gen instead.
Be nice once they stop focusing on last gen and truly go for a next gen experience.
I do wonder why the PS5's SSD doesn't help load the game at a faster rate though. I thought it was promoted to be speedy as Hell yet from Digital Foundry's findings, it's around 4 seconds slower at loading in comparison to a PC with SSD.
I expect that the PS5 may get a proper enhanced version of God of War nearer the release of the Ragnarok sequel, similar to what they did with the first Spider-Man when Miles Morale was released on PS5 (I got both in a special edition disc version although the first game was a digital download). It makes sense for some of the PC enhancements to be included in a PS5 version. Time will tell though.
It won't be the same as native PS4 games running on PS5 though because the game will have a native app that supports all the features of the new console, including higher quality textures, LODs and faster loading. It may also be redesigned slightly to bypass scenes where background loading might be happening on PS4.
When you think about it, it is no different from PC which has to support lower end systems as well as higher end ones, albeit it has to support a wider variety of hardware. I wouldn't say from personal experience that this has held back PC games development. True, FIFA 22 on PC lacks the current-gen graphical enhancements and Pro-motion feature but that is more down to EA's attitude to PC and lazy development than anything else as those could easily have been added and older machines still supported as well.
I realise this will annoy console newbies (why are they here?) but they've been annoying me for years whenever something's been dumbed down or ruined or made more stupid because of console newbies and their kiddie consoles.
Now I bet that console newbies are super angry (why are they here?) but I never read anything they say, or in the case of console newbies, perhaps I should say. 'I NEVER READ ANYTHING THEY SAY'. Now console newbies can understand.
Prepare insults console newbies, but I won't be here (why are they here?).
Obviously, the PC version *is* better graphically with the higher settings, reduced LOD pop in and native 4K rendering (which may well end up in an enhanced PS5 version at some point) but I cannot see the 4K checkerboard artifacts on PS4 Pro and PS5 unless I look closely and even then Digital Foundry had to zoom in to show them in their video analysis so I could see them on my 27" PC monitor from a 4K60 stream!!!
I think the biggest win for PC personally is the ability to play above 60 FPS but that has issues at the moment as highlighted in the DF video.
I gave you the Jester award for your previous post that you clearly edited but is still wrong, congrats.
what a clown
Haha you silly jester you, my rig has about 3 times the power of PS5.... Just the fact that you said "he even got a subpar processor" shows you know nothing at all about PC components. Since when was a 10900KF (that retails just shy of £400) known as a subpar processor.
The fact that obtaining a RTX3080 is a struggle within itself, getting a prebuilt was the way forward for me, It's really not that expensive when one has a job.
It's just money pal, I mean looking at your previous posts, you've had nothing but problems with your GPU... That must suck ehh, not had any issues at all at my side but oh well
