Anyone got a free way to decrypt saves from PS4 to PC for GOW

I want to use my save from PS4 but it doesn't seem like you can just drag and drop saves. I've seen that it's possible to transfer your saves from PS4 to PC for certain games like Days Gone or HZD but you have to first use a program, which costs $50, to decrypt the save. Was wondering if there was someone that could decrypt the save for me.

Not gonna work. Its tied to the PS4, PS5 system. Even a difference between PS4 and PS5. Thats why you have transfer of save game files from PS4 to PS5 since it needs converting.

That's what the OP is asking for -- any way to decrypt and/or transfer their PS4 save file to PC.
I had done this with Fallout Shelter, albeit that's a difference platform. But a lot of people do this, nothing new in wanting to take over your existing saves from one platform to other.

It definitely isn't but I played on Give Me God Of War so it took a lot longer to get where I got in the game and unlock the items I did

That's true but I mentioned it because the difficulty made the game actually take a while to beat and I only just beat it like 3 months ago. The PC version got announced not soon after and I decided to wait on starting new game +.

Yes, the PS save by itself won't work, obviously, which is why they were asking for any free programs or converters which allow them to convert the saved files from the PS file-system to PC.

No, I have a playstation save I just need a way to decrypt it. For other games that were PS4 exclusive, the save file between PS4 and PC is the same but you have to be able to decrypt the PS4 save first.

Lol, well if I can't find anyone to decrypt it for free I guess I'll just wait around for someone to upload a new game + ready save. I'll probably have to unlock a lot of things again but at least I can just go straight to checking out the new things in new game +

I think its best to wait it out, someone will eventually put a save file with NG+ on one of mod-sites like Nexus-Mods or 3rd-party save hosting sites. I remember HZD NG+ save files being available in like half a day or something.

your wrong , the encryption has a padding that makes the save different size then pc and the I/O doesnt know how to decrypt it , there is a open source tool for it and a paid one ps3 saves are super similar to ps4 ones thats why people have been doing this since 6months in of ps4 launch. To the ppl calling him a cheat its his own save and progress he transferred to the pc version ? Why does anyone care about what someone else does like that

I think you meant to quote someone else? Becasue what you've said is literally what I've said -- the save file won't work as it is and will need a tool to convert and transfer it from PS to PC.
