How's the difficulty compared to sekiro?
Been keeping myself spoiler free, so haven't watched let's plays or anything like that.

Is this a supposedly hard game like sekiro, or a too easy game like assassin creed? How's the difficulty?

On "normal" difficulty it feels a bit easier. It's obviously a bit more clunky and a different style combat.

It's harder with keyboard and mouse.

On hardest (Give me god of war), imho, it is harder than Sekiro but gets easier later on as you get more skills and better gear. Part of that might also be because I got better at the combat, though, so it is tough to say if it ever becomes "easier" than Sekiro. Some fights probably do while others don't.

game isn't difficult just higher difficulty = more hit sponge enemies, I hate when games do this because it isn't difficult. I do feel this game could have been designed like dark souls where the beginning enemies are easy and you just get better later on

The combat is pretty different, probably more comparable to Senua's Sacrifice rather than something like Sekiro. But in a general sense of raw difficulty, I would rate it somewhere near equal when playing on the harder difficulty. I'm playing on 1 above normal (I forget the actual name they call it) and I was absolutely not expecting the difficulty. It caught me off guard and slapped me right in the face. But much like Sekiro, once you get a feel for timing the parry and dodging attacks that cannot be parried, you get into a groove and die a lot less.

Watching that video, yeah i get a sens that difficulty means damage sponges and higher stats, she took half your health with one hit... and you're doing less than 0.5% of her health bar pet hit, meaning it's a long fight that you will have to restart completely if you slip up even once or twice.

Sekiro in comparison, when you tackle an enemy for the first time it might take a while because you don't know what is going on. But once you really drill down the enemy, you can beat them (even big bosses) pretty fast because you can parry everything (which damages their stances) and know exactly how to maximise your DPS by attacking at every possible opportunities. Some bosses will die in mere moments just because you know exactly what to do.

I like the sekiro system better. Don't use sponges that's just dumb game design... instead punish me for my ignorance, and reward me for my knowledge by letting me beat the boss faster.

You're fighting with the camera more than anything. It's forces the game to be harder by denying you vision.

Game is not a Dark Souls Clone..There is not comparison to Sekiro in any way..

Technical wise, it can be as hard as Sekiro. Just that this game doesn’t punish you from failing as much as Sekiro.

It hurts when people think Steam is the only way to play games.

Did you play it? Obviously I'm talking about the FOV being right behind the character.

I played both. I am a self-proclaimed "parry god" in Sekiro, making it a cakewalk in comparison to GoW.

Is GoW harder? It is most likely, from a neutral perspective, just as difficult, maybe slightly easier on average. Some endbosses (like Sigrun) are straight out harder compared to any boss you find in Sekiro...

Different mechanics, etc. etc. but overall similar in difficulty.
Plagues 18 ENE 2022 a las 6:29 p. m.
honestly, 75% of GOWs difficulty comes from the low FOV and camera position. makes fighting multiple enemies harder than it needs to be,.
