To the OP:
Hit or miss, it's a great option. Most times the UI is the biggest issue when going VR. VorpX tries to help when it can.
As for 3rd person - Assassin's Creed Origins looks great in VR, while Odyssey is good but not as well.
The trick is: Are you wanting actual VR or just 3D? Many times 3D is enough for me.
