Does family share work on god of war i am just curious i know in some games it doesn't work so yeah

My friend pre-ordered the game and shared his Library with me and it doesn't show up in my library maybe it doesn't show up because the game haven't launched yet

im assuming if its not eventually it will. I family share all of my games with my girlfriend and i havent seen one that doesnt eventually end up there

To OP, this is incorrect.

I think you forgot that games that are in a pre-release/pre-order state are not family sharable till its released. This is the case for EVERY game that hasn't released yet. After the game has released, you'll need to restart your steam to start the game download.

So I guess you can predict if this game will have or not... right? Im just telling OP where to look (since storepage doesnt say it has).

At the moment this game doesnt have "family sharing", so Im not telling a lie. This can be changed by developer at any moment and if they do "steamdb" will have the info in the history section.
