I already defeated 3 of them. That one in tight small room, which makes block with her wings was super easy once i realised her pattern.

If I could beat the first valkyrie on my second try nearly without her even touching me and also having poop equipment and minimal upgrades then I fear no queen when I beat the game and when I'm fully upgraded. This game is easy, I regret not choosing GMGOW.

Valks are mid-endgame superbosses. I'd recommend holding off on fighting them until you get better gear. Once you get mid-game (post first helheim visit) you can probably get away with fighting valks as you find them. Most of them are battles of attrition (Sigrun especially) because they all absurdly large health pools and deal dangerous damage so you need to play the dodging game and be patient with where you get aggressive.

Eir's light slam attack

Am i missing something?, this attack is almost a oneshot and covers the whole arena, cannot be blocked or dodged, i tried lots of things and is still a guaranteed defeat each time the valkyre uses it? is there some secret to the hitbox im missing or something?

damn, a single arrow from atreus also seem to work

You can stun any valk out of air attacks (except the stomp and grab) by throwing ur axe or using atreus.

Valkaries are just insane

I've got pretty good at this game but the valkeries are just impossible, i take it these are meant to be killed much later in game? I'm still using blue gear even though i'm 50 hours in.

Managed to beat one very easily by parrying at 17 hours in. Most of its attacks were parry-able so I equipped the Talisman of Protection for a bigger parry window.

The first valkyrie i did is not very hard in God of war difficulty.
I managed to do the valkyrie without getting hit once with about 30 tries.
It's the one right after getting the chisel in the head of the giant Thamur (I think)
It is necessary to analyze the movements well, to find the good timings and the success follows

I play Dark Souls type games and have played some of the hardest around, but these Valkyries really make me want to eat my flesh. Took me 2 hours to beat the one on the fire realm. Never beat them even on PS4 so maybe I will do it here who knows.
