Prove it by not just taking some mouth word for it.
With all these broken issues in GoW, no full PC support, etc. facts says ~6-months, at best, with a tiny team but mostly freshman/interim/contracted devs.
With PC, you have to additionally factor in dynamic UI, ultrawide resolution (which the devs said took a lot of work to get right) and ofc adding DLSS/FSR and better shadows.
Without realizing the extra work other than porting the existing PS game source code, just dont expect the game to come cheap.
When you have to do the work and deliver something and some paying so says you dont deserve more, then you will realize.
If you know you can get $50 for something you made would you not go for it?
What would be the reason to sell it less if you KNOW thousands... and thousands.... would buy it for $50?
The OP was questioning as to why the game deserves a $50 price tag. I think its not unreasonable by any means. Getting this game on PC is such a blessing so we have to just take it with open arms. If the OP feels the price is too expensive, he can very well wait a lot longer.
It's called integrity and business ethics and all money is not good money. I know that seems alien to you, though, right?! 🙄
Because why sell or *settle* for only thousands, and have the *wise* consumers watch you carefully the next time *to either buy or not to buy* in the future when you could have earned tens/hundreds-of-thousands and gain even stronger support for your next title?!
Crazy to be fair and ethical, huh?! 😏
Regardless if the price is greed driven or realy justified because of the high implementation costs. People are happy they got it. This realy is a testament to how good this game is.
And now to the maybe more important part.
If this shows developers how much we as gamers honor good games this maybe gives them a higher incentive to produce good games.
We all know how much AAA garbage get's produced these days.
The only reason to lower the price of an entertainment product is when noone is buying it.
They have no ethically obligation to make the game cheap.
