If you want though, you can rush through and enjoy the story and then on NG+ do all of those. New gear unlocks on NG+ regardless of what setting you choose the NG+ for.

There's 2 places in the game that make me want to rip someone's head off with my bare hands, but other than that I'm having a great time!

In most open world games, I try to find balance between joy and getting bored by side missions 😉 When I am starting to get bored, I leave them and push main quest...
The Fog place. It's such a tedious grind. I'm not fighting that evil wench at the end without full upgrades vs the fog. It's hard enough as is WITHOUT a timer.
