Apparently you get another 'perfect' shield for beating it on NG+ on GMGOW which is

This skin.
The other red one you got for doing NG+ on any difficulty and the two Epic? Legendary? Orange ones you got from GMGOW, not sure if you can get those if you do GMGOW on a NG+ but I do know you get that one if you do.
By FAR, I think you already got the best one which is that gold spartan one with the blood red symbol on it. :| I dont know how the hell I'm going to get that. Just looking at them all, honestly just doing the game on GMGOW from the get go seem to just have the coolest looking ones by far, I really hope you can get them in NG+.
If you don't have the legendary tier GMGOW shield skins at all, you can get those on NG+ along with the Perfect one if you complete NG+ on GMGOW. They all stack.
Well, thats a relief. Being jacked with stats would help a lot.
That was quite tough challenge but I played the game on ps4 and ps5 previously what really helped me to go through this now. The second most helpful thing for me was playing the main quest first to get all the mechanics (2 type of arrows, new weapon with free teleport), and only after that I was doing all the side quests to get all resources and craft recipies. The most difficult thing was optional (Valkyries) but that was just a matter of learning the movesets. Armor - I was dressing up in the armor I was finding during main quest (snake leather ♥♥♥♥), then I went to Muspelheim and got all that armor. After all I got Niflheim armor and finished everything else.
IMHO the main quest on GMGOW difficulty is quite simple except the beginning of the journe because of the lack of attack moves. Hope you'll nail it without any serious problems but shield skins don't worth. :D
Played HZD just before this and I beat that on Ultra Hard on NG (eventhough there was no achievement for UH on NG but it was a fun challenge and I came out on top with 100% completion).
My aim on this one is to acquire and max out every item in the game on both NG and NG+. Based on my master sheet data (it is in the guide section), you need a total of about 28M hacksilver.
I originally tried Give Me a Challenge cause I usually play on hard settings first but 1st baldur wrecked me so I went to balanced. Then on my NG+ after ALMOST 100%ing everything (I didnt feel like slogging through all the fire realm impossible challenges) so I THOUGHT I was ready for GMGOW and nope... got wrecked so I redid my NG+ on GMAC.
I am a BIG sucker for cosmetic stuff though... so I might actually try it again just for those shields, I cant help myself when it comes to cosmetics. :|
I JUST did HZD recently too and was going through Ultra Hard on NG. Though it wasn't as hard as I though - the damn stealth is bs though - I just can't slog through it again.... for whatever reason the first playthrough I found everything just didnt do all the achievements and I was super eager to find out the story andddddd was a bit disappointed in the story.
I really wanted to know why there were robotic dinosaurs and instead of explaining the dinosaurs I got the explanation for the robots and idk why but that killed a lot of my drive.
I guess the whole plot of that game is an open discussion as there are many questions which people had and is left to interpretation by the player. But I had a blast playing it though the first time..
On my NG+ run, I just didnt bother with anything other than the main quests and flew through it in abt 10 to 12 hrs and it was a joke. Having all skills, the best armor and the Banuk weapons made it so easy in comparison to what NG was cos u start with nothing then. Also there is no difference between NG and NG+ there unlike this game.
