Can you change the camera position?

I hate the default camera. I want it further away. All gameplay I see is using default. Can you change it from the options menu or through a mod?

This is the default camera from Kingdoms of Amalur, 10 years ago. Kind of similar, don't like it either.

This is the most extreme example of what you can do from the options menu. Reminds me of the camera from the old God of War games.

No. But truth be told the camera position is perfect once you get good. But if you can't accept it, I totally understand and that was how I felt at first. Now it totally makes sense to me

Well bummer. I hate 3rd person action games where the camera is so close. I could only play Dark Souls 3 with a camera mod. Thanks for the info.
