Resurrection stones are useless?

Many times after being resurrected, die again in a second with one attack from Valkyrie. What have I done wrong?

There are different resurrection stones. One revives you with more HP & a full rage bar if I'm not mistaken. So what I did was go right into rage & deal some damage. I also used the armor for Atreus that made him find heal stones. So I picked up those before rage ended

Valkyries are end-game challenges. The first time you can find one, your character level is way below hers, so defeating the Valk would be nearly impossible at that point.

Yes, ressurection stones can be very powerful, especially those with the mentioned rage boost - and the additional heal you get from that.

And Atreus' ability to find health stones comes with his runic armors, the blue ones. Mind you, if your luck stats are low, his healing will be somewhat rare.

Thank you. I finished the main part. So far, I just wear armors and weapons that boost the strength and defense. So I also need to care about luck?

Oh, when you finished the main story, you should certainly give it a try. (I Just defeated my first Valkyrie, was lots of fun. Lvl 6 noob here on GmaC difficulty after Tyr's vault).

I mentioned luck only in context of Alatreus ability to find health stones. Low luck can be a reason why perks with a chance to activate may look subpar.

As Amentih already said, rage mode is very useful to collect health stones and heal up with punches. Note that some Valks are stronger than others. Have a happy duel time!

I have killed three Valkyries but I am having a hard time to kill Eir. Always got beaten when she has one health bar left. One time it was almost done and the screen asked me to press the middle mouse button to finish her up but then the game crashed.

I used them only in fights with Valkyries and in Nilfheim.
