Sony, you could be printing money giving us the original God of War series. Horizon, Days Gone, and now God of War have been massively successful. Uncharted 4 is going to be huge. Now it's time to unleash the original GoW games.... you don't even need to include Ascension or the PSP titles (though that would be nice). We know you can do it. You put GoW 3 on PS4, so you can at least port that one over. WHY ARE YOU LEAVING SO MUCH MONEY ON THE TABLE? You're not going to put GoW Ragnarok or the new Horizon on PC, it'd be bad business. Makes total sense, we all get it. I get not putting your brand new exclusives on PC, you gotta sell hardware....

But nobody is buying a PS5 for the original God of War trilogy. Same goes with the Uncharted trilogy. The vast majority of PC gamers are NEVER going to buy a console. RELEASE THE TRILOGIES, WE WANT TO GIVE YOU OUR MONEY. PLEASE SONY I FORGIVE YOU FOR EVERYTHING. PS3 emulation is getting much better, and soon this won't be as big an issue. Don't miss your window!

it's still technically on the pc no? if you want them to release as a standalone PC game, you are probably going to be waiting for a while. that's even if they do release them on pc which I highly doubt.

They develop the games to sell playstations (unfortunately).

I'm sure there are money counters over there in Sony that see the value of "re-selling" the games on PC once they are no longer a draw for the current Playstation system.

No wonder mobile gaming is eating everyone's lunch.

Have you actually tried streaming on PC with PSNow? It's horrendous. The app hasn't been updated in ages. It doesn't work with a Dualsense (PS5 controller), which beyond illogical. Well, it kind of makes sense considering how well the DS works with their PC releases (also a ♥♥♥♥ show, I don't need the pad to control the mouse, I need swipe controls for things like menus on Days Gone). Everything streams in 720 (PS4 sometimes streams in 1080), but again, this doesn't matter because their latest controller doesn't work with the app. Does the game require swiping? Too bad, your Dualsense won't work for that. And don't get me started about the input lag, Jesus. Xcloud on Game Pass is like magic compared to PSNow streaming (games start nearly instantly, undetectable lag, etc), which is really sad because Sony had a massive head start when they bought Gaikai or whatever it was called like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ decade ago. They need to just release the older games on PC. I get porting from PS3 is a hassle, but they did it with the Uncharted collection to PS4, so I know that at least could be ported over to PC. Sony really, really needs to get their ♥♥♥♥ together because they're falling behind badly, and that's not something I want to see. Moving PS headquarters to CA from Japan was nothing short of disastrous in retrospect. Soon this won't even matter. The main PS3 emu is making major improvements regularly. It won't be long until most people can just emulate instead of buying the classics, and Sony is doing nothing capitalize while the door is closing behind them.

man, the original trilogy with the psp ones would be an awesome collection to have on PC. Though there is always emulation, even though its a hassle to set it up.

It's not a hassle, it's surprising how easy it is, especially rpcs3

I wholeheartedly agree with this! It's time Sony brings in a new legion of PS fans by re-releasing thier classics from PS2/3/4 on PC. I would love to replay Killzone 2 on PC as well. That was a fun game.

Yeah, I agree with Evo. But I guess it won't be happening any time soon. And concerning the emulators, maybe that's exactly the reason they have no plans for that. It seems difficult to create added value on a PS2 or PS3 port, compared to what is technically available from emulation. Yet I'd love to see it happen.

I say the performance is quite acceptable for me
Like 35fps on average
Though you would have to remove some effects like anti aliasing, bloom, etc

What are your specs? CPU/GPU/RAM is basically what I'm interested in.

I'm running an AMD 5800X, 32gb DDR4 3200, and an RTX 3070 with 8gb VRAM. Would that getting 3 and ascension going? I know currently Intel CPUs have a big advantage due to the AVX512 instruction set. Would also love to get Uncharted 3 running since I never played that one, but loved 1 and 2. I have a feeling that since they got the original Uncharted trilogy going on PS4 that we're eventually going to see a PC port.
