Crazy bad motion sickness
I just got this game and started playing it and I have no idea why but it's giving me insanely bad motion sickness to the point that I'm actually too nauseous to play. This has never happened to me before and I've already watched a lets play of this game and I had no problems then.

I turned off as much camera shake as I can and it's still happening.

Anyone have any suggestions or experienced a similar problem? I think its the FOV being so close to kratos that's doing it.

There is a very significant latency between moving the camera with your mouse/ controller and it actually happening in game. This may potentially cause motion sickness to certain people indirectly. What you can try is to go into Settings > Camera > Mouse Mode > change from "classic" to "precision". This will help the camera to move instantaneously towards the direction you are pointing, instead of having an inconspicuous delay. By default, the game is using "classic" mode. Also, if you happen to be using Nvidia supported GPU, go into Settings > Display > Advanced > enable "Nvidia Reflex Low Latency". This will help reduce the latency even further. Give it a try and see if it helps.

I get motion sickness in quite a lot of games, but usually only first-person ones. This game felt totally fine for me, Maybe turning off motion blur would help?

When you move the camera in controller mode, it will stop immediately when you stop moving. in other games, the move just fades away. Hard to explain. But because it stops right away, I get motion sickness. If you know what I mean.

I could understand you if you're playing Resident Evil Village, for God Of War, nahhh.

Use "Flawless widescreen: freeware program to increase the game FOV will be my first suggestion. Then form the game menu, disable Motion Blur. The only other thing I can suggest is play with the Settings --> Camera section and try out various options if that helps.

Turn all blur settings off.

I got very motion sick at first, but somehow it just fixed itself randomly.
