Because exclusives, I'll be able to play the game 3 years before you pretty much, in which that amount of time ANYTHING and I MEAN ANYTHING can happen to you if you don't get to enjoy the game, I had friends who didn't make it to see Star Wars Book of fett, just saying.
By making one of the best games of all time? o.O
Only people that lost their minds over that game were the people who are overly sensitive people who freak out at anything outside of their little safety bubble they lock themselves in.
"Just because a minority of angry people were loud about it, it doesn't mean anything. The game got extremely high reviews and sold very well."
Sony hasn't released any sales figures besides ghost so I'm wondering where you're getting your info from. And calling people a "minority" doesn't make their opinions any invalid in the least. Try harder.
if you think there's no point, nobody is gonna convince you that there is
i think it's worth it so i bought one
One example, I hate the sh1et that bluepoint changed in the Demon's souls Demake....I hope Demon's souls Demake comes to pc so that mods can make it an actual remake.
I bought a ps5 because I still enjoy console gaming infront of a television, and I sometimes buy games on console instead of pc for specific reasons.
One example is Elden Ring, I'll be buying it on ps5 because I want to avoid try hard sweaty pc hackers lol. There are still some benefits in buying a console, but to each their own I guess. Sure, there might be hackers on console, but I hope they'll be less than on pc.
Don't buy anime games on a sony console though!!!! they'll probably be censored......buy 'em on pc.
Let's not forget that sometimes some pc ports are god awful, and getting it on console might be a better option.
The phrase is literally called 'vocal minority' for a reason, being loud on twitter or making forum threads and getting a dozen or so people agree with you doesn't make it the general consensus.
A better metric would be on reddit, where in every single TLoU2 thread I've seen these hostile sentiments get downvoted into the negative digits because it's just not what the actual majority of people agree with. Furthermore it doesn't help that the 1/10 metacritic user scores started coming out literally before the ~30hr long game was even released.. making those opinions absolutely null and void.
(some people just got triggered by.. something I guess and went into nuclear rage mode? It's really quite bizarre)
It's fine to not agree with something (christ I can't stand a lot of the mainstream AAA stuff these days) but I don't pretend that I'm right and everyone else is wrong. Just that it's something that I'm not into or don't appreciate as much as others.
You sound like you never played the game. While I agree with being the loudest doesn't make it fact. If you actually pay attention to the story of the game and how its characters behave (especially compared to the previous entry). It's terribly written, inconsistent and feels forced. I'm in the camp where I enjoyed the gameplay and the visuals but hated the story. And I would have forgiven the story and many others may have as well if it wasn't for that terrible ending. I won't go into details about it since it's a huge spoiler.
Some people like the last jedi, some people like last of us 2. Anything that's popular that produces garbage will always have people who hate it and like it.
Playing through it again when the 60fps patch came last year was icing on the cake.
I'll freely admit to liking the story in the first one much more, but I saw absolutely nothing wrong with how the sequel was presented. (or god forbid, anything that warranted literal death threats to the cast and crew..
Personally I just think a lot of people didn't like having their cliche black and white 'Good Guy/Bad Guy' representations in media challenged. I loved the ending and how much I grew to love certain characters while at the same time how much I grew to absolutely resent and hate Ellie through the lens of different perspectives.
It's the Walter White/Rick Sanchez problem all over again.
You aren't actually meant to root for horrible people like Joel, who by his own admission did a lot of messed up stuff in the 20 year timeskip; too many people had him on a pedestal though and couldn't see past that.
Funny thing is that Sony is going bigtime on Windows instead of Linux in 2022.
After all Microsoft owns Windows and Xbox.
Also. Sony will later use Microsoft Azure for Game Streaming.
Why are Sony so f*****d in their lame heads that they can't make their own things anymore, but supporting their biggest competitor instead?
At this point Sony is just a f****ng laughable outdated dinosaur.
