Never seen anything like this before.
I compared because both are $50 games but priced differently in many regions
Only Horizon Zero Dawn, their first PC release, had correct regional pricing. Both Days Gone and now God of War does not have any regional pricing in India. Sony, look at the Valve suggested regional pricing and implement them, for crying out loud! You are clearly aware of it, given that you did it for HZD, so why not apply this uniformly across all your games!
Weird that Japan is cheaper than many when its usually the opposite.
