Jesus Christ. Is this an achievement? Sounds like an absolute bastard of pure rng.
Here's what it says: "Engineer a single location with 6 overlapping animal groups that are fully satisfied." It's the last one for me, and I couldn't get it just yet.
Nearly Completed all the new Content, it's all great stuff. I'd love to see more animals and Areas.
This sounds amazing - i can't wait to have some spare time to try it all out!
Loved the update. My only complaint is that it was very quick to 100% it again :D I already want more!
I loved this demo back when it came out. Been putting off getting it since it released and I heard there wasn't much content. So was waiting for the first major update before getting it. Gotta say I absolutely love the game as much as I thought I would! Loving having to meet needs for the animals as well. Makes the game that smidge more difficult.
Love it. Anyone else having trouble with the burning stuff? It just keeps burning from time to time. Like i cant really place more forrest because it immediately starts burning…
Placing animals before was annoying, but now it's impossible. The animals wander all over, so even if there's a space where they'd be happy you can't do much about it. The sonar thing barely works for this purpose. It feels like pushing a ball uphill with your nose.
And also there's no way to tell if a given area satisfies their requirements. The "space" requirement doesn't tell me how much of a given area I need to give them, only that where they are at this exact point in time isn't good enough. This feature change sucks. It feels like it's left to pure chance if I complete the level 100% or not. The indicators are also misleading because the middling one is called "adequate" when that's really not indicative of the fact that it's not actually adequate for your purposes as a player, only that they're not actively dying off. And it's funny, because if that group of animals DOES die off then maybe they'll respawn somewhere better, so there's not really an incentive to try and save a suffering group of animals.

I wish we could have an option for the original pixel sprites, like an option from command and Conquer: remastered. It'd be really fun to play the game in that style!

One issue: the navigation algorithm for the boat drone seems to have some problems, it periodically stops and flashes the "no path" sign before continuing and takes forever to get to the silos
ive been having the same problem for a while, even if all of my silos are accessible. I have found that making sure all of them have a proper route helps, but it still happens
otherwise love love love the update, feels so much more like actually rewilding and letting nature in and take over. genuinely my favourite game!!
I agree with comments about changes to animals. It seems almost random if animals are happy or not, the player has little control over improving their happiness, and having the yellow category marked "adequate" but not count as adequate for the goal is annoying.

In addition, I've notice the recycling boats get stuck on seemingly nothing much more often than ever, if they even did before. It seems biomes grow AROUND them, and there's no way to unstick them besides destroying the biome.

I'm disappointed the game is more frustrating to play than enjoyable now.

Speaking of recycling boats, fkn scrappers not able to scrap scrappers anymore, that was a crappy change. You having to ruin the environment with artificial rivers everywhere just to reach that far off windmill or other junk you left, not fun. I swear, the pixel flying drone collecting stuff without any annoying rivers was the goat.
Wow, I enjoyed this game SO much (there's the Demo video on youtube that I used to watch every day to fall asleep...). So glad to see fresh content. Thanks dev team!
Parts of this remind me of SimPark.
