Polluted Fjord (it does not Rock)

Second round of Polar, the Polluted Fjord, does not spawn enough rocks to complete lichen requirement. Tried several maps -- some have more, some less, but never enough. What am I doing wrong? (or did the devs forget to tell the game it needs enough rocks...? ^.-)

Edit: Ah ha! Calcifiers! It's going to take a lot, so save your currency for 'em. Thank you for the answers!

Use the crystalizer that you put in rivers to generate rocks around them

You need to fill in some river beds with water and utilize the calcifier building which turns greens into rocks.

Yeah, that threw me for a loop too. AFAIK the devs are basically counting on you to A) realize there's nowhere to put a wind turbine, B) create your own rocks to do that, and C) have a lightbulb turn on in your head between A and B.

You only need one calcifier. You can move buildings via monorail and it's cheaper.

I thought the "calcifier" was instead the heat pump converter thingamabob that generates heat from lava. Looks pretty similar to me.
