Lava on Polar map

How am I supposed to create more lava in phase 2 after turning all of it into water ? Lava tiles are required to unlock furthuer buildings but i mean i have exploited all the craters at the beggining.. so what am I to do ?

I think I got uh one of those smoking spots back at some point, would you mind sharing a screenshot? Don't recall exactly how I did the map.

If you got rid of ALL the lava, I think you're doomed. If you have some left, you can just dig trenches and holes and get it flowing some more.

I checked the vod, you should have these smoking thingies somewhere too I suppose. Just need to make sure there is no snow falling or it'll turn to stone.

I think they all turned to stone i'll just restart the map and save some

First, i raised temperature and humidity, in order to let plants grow. After everything is done, i turned the temperature and humidity back down to minus. Lava will automaticly transform to stone when it's cold enough. I didn't even notice the change in my playthrough to be honest. I kinda did a perferct run on first try. Just be 100% sure, you have everything planted, before you progress further

Yeah that's exactly what needs to be done, and i understood it quickly but in my first run of the region I had lowered the temperature first to get snow to purify the land quickly... I didn't anticipate it would also freeze lava.

Yeah well, that is the puzzle aspect of the game. Figuring out what does and does not work. I mean, earlier levels teach that arboretums grow trees, but people have a problem with a map that generates with no trees to start with.

There's a few ways to play it. As before mentioned, you can tinker with the humidity so that after it snows you remove the ability for it to snow... or you can go really hardcore mode and attempt to adjust everything very slowly and minutely and keep it lava while still purifying everything. It's possible, just trickier :D
