How do you lower temperature?

I am on the tropical islands level (level 2?) and I have reached maximum temperature through having lots of combustors, but now I can't grow coral because the temperature is too high.

Is there a fix for this or do I have to restart?

I haven't seen any way to lower the temperature. I just finished the tropic level myself. I have noticed tho, that some tech buildings do lower the temerature, but only slightly by 1 or even less. So i guess you have to restart. I know it's very sad and annoying :(

I kinda thought there would be something temperature related, so i only touched it, when really necessary. Even for me, it was a little bit too hot for Corals, but they still got planted. Not perfect but good conditions ^^

what happens if you remove some of the combustors?

Pretty sure I soft locked myself here. I restarted and just made sure not to put too many combustors down.
