Pricing?

Is there a explanation on the 25USD price? alot of reviews say a 4-6 hr play time. this seems strange. i want to buy the game but being able to buy 2 other indie games that have longer playtime value, what's the reasoning ?

Can't speak to price, but Its available on IOS via Netflix games if you want to try it out and already have a subscription.

Hoping that there will quickly be updates adding content. Have been looking the game over and it sounds interesting and I certainly dont mind paying for games but I expect to get more then a single afternoon of game time.

The resoning is: "Normal" indie-games cost 30. This here just 25. So it's worth it (in my oppinion). And it's lots of fun actually

again, I know what this guy is referring, if we had at least 9 hours of gameplay I would pay 25$ for it, but if there's no promise of more content, it's a no deal for me.

Yeah, it depends on how you look at it. There's only four basic map types with randomized maps. Once you complete 4 maps, one of each type, then you unlock "alternate" versions, which seem to just be the same mechanics but with some sort of theme to the seed, e.g. an abandoned quarry that has higher elevation at the perimeter and is deep in the center.

There are also 3 difficulty levels (1 casual/sandbox/no challenge, 1 normal, and 1 expert), so you could theoretically do all 4 map types (or, generously, 8 if you include the mildly "alternative" modes) on normal and then do them again on expert.

Again, the maps are randomized, so I think there's some replayability there. It's not a game you'll play for even 100 hours, but I think I'll probably play a 10-20 hours. (Already beat the game once at roughly 6 hours.)

Definitely worth it. Very polished and challenging. The devs nailed it.

I dont know if you have your notifications on, in this thread so hopefully im not wasting my time, but, idk where you get your pricing ideas from, most indie games are sub 20 with the more "premium" ones being in the low 30s

The price isn't bad, it's a good game to come back to. I have a lot of hours in the demo. It's simply relaxing. The price covers not only steams massive cut, but 8% goes to wildlife rescue

IOS version isn't that good, nice game experience in the first few minutes then it just crush and crush
