How to pass the rainforest (second) level?
I put the shades down, but needed to raise the temp so I burned some rainforest. After re-irrigating the ashes, only grass grows back, no rainforest. I don't think I could even get the shades to cover enough area for rainforest anyways. How do you proceed in this level?

I had to start a new region, I didn't realize the levels were procedurally generated, and I think I got unlucky with minimal cliffs in my first region.

Same issue. Stuck on this level because once you do a burn, that area is permanently grass, never rainforest. So your forest coverage is stuck. And they railroad the building access so you can't recycle anything, no way to rearrange any buildings.

EDIT: I restarted and faced a different, related issue. The shade clothes left a huge gap in the middle and I can't find a way to span it. The inability to adjust anything and the RNG of whether shade clothes work or not is really harshing the experience.

Personally I just prioritize getting the climate right before I do anything with creating new biomes. So I just burn some grass. It's not super fast but it gets the job done so you don't have to deal with regrowing a rainforest and things like that.

I think i just burned the normal grass and trees near the water, not the actual big Rainforest.
But the Tropical Area was pretty hard tho! I mean, i had lots of trouble with reaching enough BEACH xD

Well I didnt realize they procedurally generated either. I thought I was crazy for not being able to achieve the rainforest ratio. So I came searching forums....here I am. I feel like the rain should regen the forest under the shade cloth if you burn them for heat.

Having a similar issue, 2 maps in a row where there aren’t enough cliffs to create shadecloth pillars. In fact, it seems like I’m well below the amount of cliffs I would need. And I’ve already got 100% for the other 3 biomes?

Tricky balancing yeah, forest should be the last thing you do on that map imho.

This exact issue is making me refund and uninstall, unfortunately.

I've tried the second map FOUR times now and the consistent issue is not enough cliffs to build shade cloths, even when im being incredibly careful about what type of ground is available in this area.

This obviously needs some sort of patch, because I refuse to let the procedural generation annoy me this much in what is arguably a relaxing game

Maybe i was just lucky, but i barely managed to finish the tropical map at first try. I was lacking Beach tiles most of the time tho. And the big forest didn't grow at first, mbecause the weird poles were standing too far apart xD
At least in the next biome (Volcano?) you are given the opportinity to use a machine to manually create hills and cliffs ^^

I think its more a case of me (and a couple other people on these forums) as being UNLUCKY,

Same issue, second map not possible to clear as it didn't generate with enough cliffs, got to 80% required rainforest and no locations left where I can place a new shade post. :(

Very frustrating having to restart the whole map due to poor RNG placing cliffs too far apart. *Need* a way to make cliffs in the second regions bonus level
