Starlight Offices: Am I dumb or is this a bug?

Hi, so, I've just entered the Starlight area and started with the first level there, Green Zone, and haven't even gotten very far yet where I find myself at a weird impasse. I've got an objective telling me to retrieve the blue keycard from a small elevator with a broken open hatch, and the keycard looks like it should be within arms reach of Dawn, however I cannot pick it up and even other objects I put in there like for example a mug become uninteractable once they pass the threshhold of the door.

Am I just not finding some extra thing I have to do to open this or is this some kind of bug? I feel like I've scoured the entire playable area thus far centimeter by centimeter a handful of times by now....

Send Help! Or at least a cute VacBot for company!

... the best thing about asking such stuff is that I tend to find the solution a minute later.... after looking for half an hour earlier, just being blind.

Dawn canonically has T-rex arms, but only in Starlight Green :(

:D thanks for replying and sorry for the needless post. Would it be too much to ask to consider just positioning the keycard a bit further back to prevent others from scratching their heads there? Tho a google search reveals I'm the only one to ever be so dumb apparently....

Happened to me in starlight red. I wasn't looking up enough to notice there was another room on the second floor that had the button I needed to push
