I have been desperately trying to track down this problem, a few people have mentioned it but it is impossible for me to reproduce. Would you happen to have a save file from when this happened?
Hasn't caused me any issues, but my system is grossly overpowered for this game (i7-10700k, RTX 3080). On latest Windows 11, that might be a factor too.
Well I tried linking you to my save file here and I was temporarily banned from the community section of steam for promoting malicious content allegedly lol. Hopefully you guys got my email.
i can provide you with a save. My game went from 100 something fps to 25, lol.
I post links here all the time from mediafire that get blocked links, but never been banned for posting a link. What storage medium did you use to post a link? Dropbox, g-drive, Mega nz, etc?
Please do!
We have recently found some areas where the framerate tanked but it was not actually related to Burger Flipper, it just happened to be in the same level that you get the pickup for Burger Flipper.
Some objects were stacking up in the background and never getting deleted (mostly water sprays, from Fire Hydrants and similar things) and this would also balloon your save file. I've fixed most instances where this could happen for the next update but the more save files I can analyze the better.
If you find that you have a save file that is 10MB+ then it's probably a good bet that this has happened.
I used mega upload, saw someone else using it so figured I was in the clear?
Anyway I also emailed the file using the address Dev gave me up above so hopefully they still got it.
That might be it, the file is 10mb
That said, it did happen after I spent an hour or so on burger flipper

Just wanted to confirm that the patch 0.83d not only solved my issue, but seemed to improve performance overall
