We're working on that
Keeping the flashlight off helps (I know it’s needed sometimes but when it’s not, leave it off). I didn’t realize how impactful it was to performance until I saw the dev reply to the UndertheMayo video on YouTube. It can knock 15-20fps off the frame rate on the LCD steam deck.
Except you can, lol.
Not playing on the Deck myself but the game feels amazing on a controller. Might be the same on the Steam Deck
Agree, I’m a weirdo who plays all my PC games on controller and their controller implementation is very good. I made a few changes- like mapping slide to the L3, grenade to RB, and weapon wheel to LB, and toggle crouch to B. But it’s just because of muscle memory for using controllers for so many first person shooters. The aiming and layout was pretty good already though.
