Check secrets in the movie theatre
If I knew I would have to hunt these things in order to get potential upgrades that I would want, I wouldn't have bothered with this game. This is Hexen levels of stupid now and it isn't fun. The secrets are annoying to find.
If anything if I knew this far into the game I'd be holding a mcguffin to find the secrets in this game for about 80% of the game, I wouldn't even have bought this game. It's so disappointing honestly. I just saw a clip of someone with a light based puzzle being baffled only to find out there is a 5th light further away? That's just dumb, don't do stuff like that.
Stuff like this really frustrates morons like me, how do you open this poster???? What obtuse little thing do I have to do to get it to open? And on that note, how the flip flop do I open those blast doors on the ground floor below that area that ALSO hides another secret?
This is what grinds my gears with this game, I am legit running around hours trying to solve this game's puzzles instead of having fun playing the game. Maybe shoot a few guys for 2 mins and back to hours of scavenger hunting.
I wouldn't have minded if these secrets held more value, but the one with the detonator I just figured out (couldnt see the door slightly open to slide through as there was a corpse in front of it) only gave me.... 2 acid grenades that I never use........ urgh...
This game feels like Hexen, I have no other way to describe it.
But I do agree that this particular secret is no sence, their is NO WAY you will thought that 1996 is the vault code since you will think it's a Duke 3D ref.. They should have put a Duke 3D poster or something like that beside the vault door
